About Stewart

Born in Canberra, Stewart grew up surrounded by music and was determined to become a guitarist. Initially self-taught, he developed his skills through programs for emerging Indigenous artists in the ACT region and the Keith Urban online guitar program “30 songs in 30 days”. With the strong support of his family and community, he gained enough confidence to start performing at locally.

Stewart has now performed on many stages such as the Country Rocks Festival in Bungendore, The Multicultural Festival in the ACT, performing the National Anthem for the opening of the PBR in Queanbeyan, Country Rocks Under the Stars in Braidwood, opening for Brad Cox at Country Rocks the Capital, and performing beside Drew McAlister. Stewart is a charismatic performer, delivering a high energy and entertaining show.

After signing with Country Rocks Records, Stewart released his debut single ‘You Are Beautiful’. The track brings a Country Rock sound like no other, combining modern Nashville Country, old school Aussie Pub rock, together with an edgy Country Rock mix. He is looking forward to many more single releases along with his forthcoming debut album.

Backed by the ever-growing list of music industry family members, Stewart Barton is the Australian artist to follow, watch this space.
